driven the db9 and its def. not meant to drag race. you should be just fine

 

turn ur boost up! race GAS! and launch that baby! alot of people all they do is talk about the h/p that dont mean $hit yeah if it was like over 600 and u got pretty much stock evo thats a differnet point just dont miss any gears. its all about the driving skills! that be sick race make sure u video tape it i want to see that.

 

u wont have any problem.. DB9 are just cool lookin, nothing sepctacular... they dont have an insane trap speed. They are slower then a c6 vette and slower then the c5 z06 that evo's tend to compare their cars too lol

maybe its just me but for some reason evo drag times drive me nuts! mid 11's at not even 120?! that drives me CRAZY! i dont street race but for the people that do... u really think an 11 second evo has a chance against a 11 second srt or 11 second turbo civic or something.. we would get MURDERED lol friggin annoying! our cars are too good for drag lol (sorry if that came out wrong but our cars cheat for times lol) take it to the autocross or road course though.. evo owns all! take that aston martin there :-)

Hey! I might just go to Irwindale this Thursday and just watch the race for all I care! I'll even video tape it! I usually run my truck, but that wore out fast, I might just go to watch this time! I'm down! Oh yeah, you should own the Aston, they are surgar dady cars. High HP numbers mean nothing!

 

Id surely be more afraid of a c6 or c5 zo6.You should be ok if you get a nice launch.

 

The DB9 is too heavy and traction-less to compete. Make sure you two step out of the hole and his *** is grass.

 

I think you should be able to take him... I have a question though where do you race 1/4 mile in socal I have been looking for the last 6 months and havent found anything!!!

 

LACR....crappy but hell, its a 1/4mile. The elevation sucks and the times reflect that. Another one is the Pamona drag strip. Not sure when they are open but when IRHA comes to town, the strip opens up for several days. Another one is the California Speedway, heard thats pretty far though.
