What the hell are you talking about , the DB9 is a quick car but not that quick especially compared to it's competition such as a 997 Turbo. EVO should win easily if he knows how to drive.

i went on a party bus last night and met one of my close friend's father. we were all just talking having a good time and all the sudden he starts talking about my car saying how he would rip me a new one in a 1/8th mile race. i then said every thursday night irwindale speedway has 1/8th mile races. so we decided that we will do this this week at the track. my current mods are a turboback exhuast, intake, upeper intercooler pipe, and boost control at 20 psi. his db9 is 100% stock. what do you guys all think?

Here I'm thinking this DB9 is so awesome and everyone says it's not even that fast. It just seems to me that a V12 6.0 liter would destroy a little 2.0 liter 4banger. I love my Evo to death, but I came from the land of V8's before owning an Sti/Evo. So I always go by more displacement. Anyways good luck man.

Just get some 100 octane if you can and turn the boost back up to 22 or 23 psi.
With a reasonable tune (I think you said you were tuned for 22psi) and some good highoctane gas you should be just fine running a little more boost, I would not recommend turning it up anymore without seeing the tune and some logs.
Also, don't lay on the 2step, just ease up to it just before you launch. I believe if you lay on it too long the ecu will pickup knock and pull down your timing all the way through first gear. I'll have to verify this though since I don't drag race.....
Kick that DB-9's a$$ then walk over to him and with a smug little grin say "hmm, did something go wrong? I thought you were going to rip my a$$"
