I know the DB9 and have seat time in one, they are powerful but really not that quick. Their forte is a great looking body with a gorgeous interior, everything else is pure GT car NOT sports car.

My bet is on the Evo provided it is putting out 310-330WHP. Now if you wanted to pull from 100MPH plus, you would probably be left behind. This is where the weight of the Aston is not as much of a penalty and the superior aerodynamics will allow it to pull away.

The Evo has never been about the horsepower, but rather how its applied. That always makes me laugh when STi guys think they're better because they have more HP, yet the Evo continues to beat them on the shootouts.

Anyways, that said, I really believe you will beat the DB9. Just keep a level head and don't be intimidated. You already ran a 12.55, so you don't need launch advice. Just keep it cool and show once again why the Evo stands on the pedestal of motorsports.

Im thinking Evo FTW!!

Theres nothing better then racing a car that costs three times as much as your car did. I cant wait for the VID! Try to catch some of his cocky attitude on camera first. Then beat him, and catch some on his shamless excuses as to why he lost!....HAHA

So when is the race? I might be at Irwindale next week running my friends 5.0. I wouldn't mind seeing the DB9 get smoked.
