Hey guys i plan on buying an evo 9 mr soon. i got one question though. What is the restrictions on the warranty transfers from private parties and dealership parties. I know it transfers over on the dealership to private part, but what about the private to private deals? Does it still cover bumper to bumper?

Don't take my word for it but I doubt it will transfer

 

As long as that previous owner did not void their warranty in any way, and assuming it is still under factory warranty, it should transfer.

Think of it this way. The warranty is on the car, not the owner

Heck, if you want, you can shoot me the vin on it, and I will gladly check on the warranty coverage for you.

All factory warrantys transfer. Just not for the full term as the original owner had. ie Mitsu 10yr 100 thou mile powertrain 1rst owner subsequent owners get the powertrain coverage till 60k

 

Honestly, its not really a warranty anyway... =(
