Mbc

im getting a megan tbe a kn drop in filter boost guage and a tune i dont plan on changing the boost so do i need an mbc? Thanks for any advice

Of course not. The MBC is for changing boost, so why would you even think you might need one if you want to keep stock boost?

Anyway, you have a IX, so you SHOULD raise boost. You can gain as much power with an $85 MBC as you did with that entire $600 TBE, and the MBC makes no noise and is nearly invisible. Makes you wonder!

im not saying im never getting a mbc i just wnted to make sure it was alright for now. and i dont want to be obnoxious but i hate how muffled the stock exhaust is so i need to get a new one

Well if you are getting a tune...it will help you get the most out of it...why would you get a boost gauge if you don't want to change boost?

or for the matter anything with the word boost is a sign that its something to do with boost.

i second what everybody is saying. i got 9 with the TBE, boost gauge, K&N, and MBC. after the flash it was night and day. get the boost up with the controller is all i have to say.

^^It's still a good idea to get the boost gauge to monitor boost. But, definately get a boost controller before your tune.
