engine start button...

so here's what i was thinkin the other day, wonder if it's been done...
well seeing as how i will not track my car much and also that the ic sprayer isn't all that important anyways. i was thinkin about removing it and putting a red engine start button in the spot where the ic spray button is. what do u guys think? and how much would that cost, if anyone knows?

ehh that was neat and all but i'd rather have a nice red button thats says start on it guess, like the S2000 or a Benz. plus i think it would look hot right there in the middle too.

I'll take some updated pic's (the interior's all black now) but this should give you an idea.. Honestly, I tried the "Engine Start" Red Button, and it looks pretty cheesy..
I like the plain Red better. I have yet to install an LED tho, so it lights up.
I'm gettin' around to it.

I never quite understood the concept of a start button when you still have to put the key in the ignition. It just seems like double work to me.

I agree. I had an S2000. You still have to use the key. It actually takes longer.
Now, if the key had something like bluetooth so the car recognized it and you did not have to insert it, then that would be different.

It's no different than numerous other mods people do. Pointless, but cool and or unique in someones mind.

DO IT! You can often find those buttons on ebay.

although if you hide the engine start button and disable the one on the column, then it could act as a semi theft deterrent;
