it's amazing how a thread like this grows so fast. Every woman I've ever met ("woman" +21) thinks the Evo is rediculous looking. I've been told, "It's a kids car", "You could have bought a BMW". "You're not in highschool anymore", etc., etc. etc. but I still mob if like the day I bought it, and love it ever so much more.

The evo is not a date car as cool as it might be; never was, never has, but the X might just be. If you buy this car to pick up chicks, you are bought the wrong car. As most have already said, the evo appeals to those that have a mind for performance regardless of sex. Yes, the women and children will stare and point fingers but when it's all said and done you will still be the only one in your car unless you're with friends, then that's a different story.

I went out to a family outing with some friends this past sunday afternoon, we had a great time and all and ate a lot. Most of the guests were admiring my car as it was parked in the driveway, but on the way home, I gave a ride home to 4 skinny Asian girls..... 3 of them liked how my car performed, but one of them was like when your Tubo spools, it goes **hisssssssss** sounds real loud, the car vibrates....I dont like it.....

well my girlfriend is a honda girl, we are building her an h22 for her del sol to run in NHRA...thats actually how we met...anyways, long story short, she loves the evo and now wants one of her own 
and shes a good driver....much better than the few guys ive let drive it

Evos are all man. They attract attention from cops and teenage boys exclusively. Chicks in general will hate, as will metro sexual BMW driving weenies. This is a good thing and is an important balance in nature.

When I was single I gave a couple rides to these girls an they all loved it thought it was sexy blah blah blah. Now my present girlfriend at first said it was "ok"? Then 1 night she had the nerve to spot a SRT-4 and said wow that cars hot! Im like? You think it evos ok and yet the SRT is hot? lol not that im hating on SRT's theres some that are sweet. Then she spotted a STi and was like hey theres ur car! I just stared at her with the WTF look lol..........Evos rule!!! FTW
The evo is how i picked up my current girl....apparently before we started talking she referred to me as Evo boy....only reason she bothered to learn my name was because i offered her a ride....
