Antilock Light is on??
My car sat for almost a month. Now my anti lock light is on. Could one of my calipers be frozen from sitting too long? Any input would be appriciated.

I believe that it could happen, but my miata sits in the winter for months at a time and the calipers never froze. However, you might of just been unlucky. Drive the car around for a while and see if the calipers are sticking.

Did your ABS sensor wire get cut or severed? i have seen a few people who track their car have this happen to them. The odd part is, your car has been sitting...so i blame gremlins

There are two things you can do. One, roll the car about a foot, see if the car is binding at all, and if so, tap the brakes a few times. If it feels fine, then disconnect the battery, wait a couple of minutes, and reconnect. Assuming you have no leaks and plenty of brake fluid in the system, it might just be an error. My car used to do it as well, it goes away after doing one of the two things listed above.

I have the same problem, the light goes on only when I pass 80mph, the brake squeak when i brake and shake a little due a warp rotor, but I don't know what could be wrong, any help would appriciate because I'm a super newbie to evo community.

I will say this cause no one else has specifically said it....Did you check your brake fluid? Low fluid level will cause the light to come on. As pads wear the pistons have to move farther which in turn drops fluid level which will give a light. Usually the light will come and go though during braking.
I would think if you had a frozen or bound up caliper you would either not move...or you would seriously notice it. That one wheel wouldnt turn at all right?
Hope you figure it out.

Dude if you dont know much about cars just have it correctly diagnosed my a technician you trust... It can be the ABS Modulator, wheel speed sensor etc... If you can still stop and your car doesnt pull more towards one side when you hit the brakes then it your calipers are not frozen....
But good luck with diagnosing the issue.

The pedal feel strong and smooth but the car did come with steel brake lines, most likely a bad sensor but I'll check everything after northeastern storm is over, thanks to all the reply
