Evo4 4G63T vs Evo5 4G63T
Hi Guys!
i'm new here!
Would like to find out from you guys what are the differences between the evo4 and the evo5 engines.
I have a project car which I plan to put an Evo heart into, but I don't know what the big difference is between these 2 engines. From what I can see, the Evo 5 clip usually comes with brembos whereas the evo4s do not come with Brembo brakes.
Now, i'm sure there are other significant differences in the engine, such as maybe bigger bore, or lower compression and etc.
anybody care to enlighten me?

The only difference between the engines is that the Evo5 engine has:
* Slightly revised cooling system, eg. different rad fan, slightly larger oil cooler, different water pump.
* Larger exhaust housing, 9T=evo4 10.5T=evo5
* Revised piston skirt
* Larger injectors, 510cc=evo4 560cc=evo5
* Revised thrust bearing setup to help eliminate any chance of crankwalk which has happened with the evo1-4 engines.
But stuff like bore size, comp ratio is still the same and parts can still be share between them eg, pistons, cranks, rods, cams etc.
EDIT: just changed the cooling stuff so people don't get the idea that it had a coolent system for the diffs
