Question Evo IX MR SE?

What is the difference between a IX SE, an MR and an MR SE? I've looked everywhere, searched everywhere and cannot find any info on a IX MR SE. Does such a vehicle exist?

Thanks.

some people hate it when you call it EVO IX MR SE....its an MR with an SE package...lol, but yea... The IX SE has everything the GSR has, but it comes with red stitching recaro seats and a new lip, I think thats all that is different anyways... The MR has everything the regular MR has...but comes with red stitching recaro seats, the evo ix se lip, and diamond black (which are silver) BBS wheels.

I personally have never seen a MR SE. I've only ever seen an SE, which has the seets and wheels from the MR. It does not have the aluminum roof, 6spd tranny, or the Bilstein shocks. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong... I think it's one or the other.

SE Package on a base IX includes:

Aluminum roof.
BBS wheels in "Diamond Black" (aka silver...) finish.
Red stitching on all seats.
HIDs
Front lip extension.

SE Appearance package on an MR includes:

"Diamond Black" finish on the wheels.
Red stitching on all seats.
Front lip extension.

Technically only the IX is an SE, the MR is just an MR with the appearance package. I have no idea why they marketed it that way though. The appearance package is the only way to get a black MR as well. SE's, and MR's with the package only come in Apex Silver, Graphite Gray, and Tarmac Black.

It better exist lol

jk, as others have mentioned it's just an MR with all the added SE goodies. That includes the red stitching, the lip that makes everyone go "That's the lip I want!" the HIDs, wheels, etc.

I felt the need to quote and say 'word', because the first two posters are giving wrong information.

and i had an IX MR before...

i like the new seats, new lip and new wheels much more and at first glance i didnt like them at all...

they have really really grown on me!

the new wheels really make the car stand out and the lip is great, makes front look wider

Why'd you trade if you didn't like the SE bits?

The SE changes are HUGE for the standard IX SE, but cosmetic for the MR. For competition the 5 speed is more durable than the 6 speed.
