i thought i was just an SE... but now i see IX and MR SE models available...

i didn't realize there were multiple.... what are the differences?


and my other question is, can u get a Evo IX SE with SSL???

been there...they don't even have the SE model on their site... just some information under "news"

 

The MR has an option called the "Appearance Package" that contains the spoiler, red stitching, and rims that the regular IX SE has.

 

You cant get an SE with SSL. They have an aluminum roof so you cant get a sunroof. They come with the regular Recaros with red stitching so no leather. It does however already come with the HID headlights.

It's the MR roof. There are no sunroofs on MRs, so no sunroofs on SE's.

The MR 'SE' is just an appearance package, I believe the option price is $500. It adds the front lip extension, changes the BBS wheels to the "Diamond Black" finish, and adds the red stitching to the seats. Other than that it's the same, since the MR has the Aluminum roof, HIDs, and the BBS wheels to begin with.

But who would pay for SSL when it already comes with HID headlights and you cant get a sunroof on the aluminum roof. Even if you could, it would be pointless because the aluminum roof wouldnt be lightweight anymore. You should call South Coast Mitsu because they have more evos in stock than any other dealer and ask them if they have any SEs with SSL. I am 100% sure they will say no.

 

And you can't get SSL on an SE.
