Like the title states...im bout to purchase an intercooler and i was going to get the AMS but now im thinking the Turbo XS just because i can get it for $540 shipped. Or an AMS for $650 shipped? Should i stick with getting the AMS or save some money and go for the Turbo XS?

 

LOL I am in the same boat. But I have ETS in my equation.
I am stuck between the ETS 3" for $450, 3.5" for $570, and the AMS for $650

 

I haven't heard anything bad about either, but I prefer AMS.

Yea i was planning on getting the AMS but today i just found out i can get the Turbo XS for $540...so im deciding on if i should just go with the Turbo XS. But i think the AMS one looks sick...for some reason i've always liked the look of it with the black AMS logo on it.

 

turbo xs....no probs with them...not saying you do with ams, but its cheaper and you can place that cash somewhere else.

 

Thats why i might just go for the Turbo XS....anyone got pics of the Turbo XS installed...on a IX?

I've been doing research on the Turbo XS, looks like a really good bang for the buck right now.

good choice. The turbo xs has a larger surface area and has more cooling tubes than the AMS. So really its a better cooling intercooler.

I have the xs power (AMS knock off) $132 shipped- it works just fine.

 

NO. Go AMS with the Intercooler piping! It is great, I love mine and fitment is wonderful!
