constant boost

how can i open constant boost all through my rpm range ? and is it ok to do that with out reflash on a stock car? what is the max boost i can reach for stock ecu to hanldle?

people have had more than 550 to the wheels on stock ecu...
and more than 450 to the wheels on stock motor...
03 evo 8 would be hard to hold a constant boost.. but with a dyno tune you can get pretty close especially with an EBC...

i have a hallman MBC., holds boost preety good!!!, just dont go above 22 psi without a tune and u should be ok i think....

i know a friend who is able to hold constant boost 1.4 bar in all the regions and it never goes down! but he doesnt usually drive it that way unless he wants to race or so! and it nevers go less than 1.4 he has mbc and everything stock!

forge unos MBC. holds great and make sure you get a good tune especially if you wanna raise the boost a lil.......

broken boost gauge..?

really though if you are always boosting... goodbye gas mileage...

You'll obviously never see much boost before 3 grand. From there, there is a way to hold boost pretty good. Sorry, I'm not much help, but it has something to do with some solenoid mod you can do. With a MBC, I don't care who you are, if you're still on the stock turbo and WGA, you will not hold boost solid! It will taper some. People that say they are on the stock turbo, peak at 22 psi and hold rock solid until redline are insane. It just doesn't happen. Stock Turbo = taper, unless you do that special mod. Even then it doesn't hold rock solid.
