Please do not argue with me on this above, I am reading it from the book right now.

Your warranty cannot be voided due to the presence of an aftermarket part (turbo timer) alone. Magnusson/Moss warranty claims act.. but that is an arguement that is ad nausia elsewhere on this site.

I'm not sure why they would void your warranty for a turbo timer, I've voided warrantys, but not on entire cars. Had a car come in with a MAF code with a cold air intake and I didn't warranty the MAF. I still fixed the rest of the car though.

 

yea warranty issues is pretty much diffrent all over the place some places excepts with mods and some don't. As far as warranty coverage for buyng a used evo best bet is to call a mitsu dealership. Dosen't matter where they all should be the same.

ya good got mines brand new here in germany not a warranty no where lol,

 

don't worry about warranty...when something breaks replace it with a better aftermarket part.

even with a stock evo you will still have to fight mitsu or the dealer
