Awesome job Buschur Racing
As for the high hp comment i agree with you David. Take it to the track and run the times. But you got to remember that there is allot more than just making the power when it comes to the 1/4mile like weight of the car, driver, and track prep. But you know all this and im am the young one here still learning
Our dyno # where more for fun than anything else

Well, my inability to fall asleep led me to come browse around the forums, and I rarely post on EvoM, but felt the need to chime in on this one.
Reading Dave's post, I feel as though my car, the white Atlantic Motorsports Evo, is one being questioned about some dyno numbers.?
I don't track my car, nor do I have any huge plans to do so. While some enjoy the 1/4 mile, I must admit I've only run down the track once...and I wasn't too pleased with my driving prowess. The car is a full weight, leather interior'd, fully dynomatted, street driven car, with a fairly nice stereo system. It's also got all sorts of electronics inside for ****s and giggles. It's no featherweight RS, I can tell you that much. We have a set of scales at the shop, and we weighed it a month or so back, but for the life of me I can't recall the number, so I will update this portion of the post tomorrow when I get to work.
The car was built to show some of the work we do at the shop, never meant to be a race car of any sorts. I drive it on my 80 mile commute to the shop when the weather is nice. And I will add, the car was driven to, from, and during the photoshoot, which was about an hour drive from the shop. Starts, runs, idles like a dream. And it's got good tunes to listen to while doing so.
Now, being an owner of the shop, I felt the need to build a good looking, good performing car to show off as a "Shop Evo" as the tag reads.
You can claim the dyno numbers are BS, I won't try and argue over the internet. But I will tell you our Dynomite Dyno produces very similar numbers to other local Dynojets, so you have something to somewhat compare it to. As stated in the article, the car does not get driven making near 600 whp. That was only produced on the dyno, in the shop, attempting to see if the car could break the barrier. It did, once, then I was happy we had not blown the motor, and it was not repeated. The car is tuned by our in house tuner Mike, using an AEM EMS, along with an SMC alky injection setup, and made 560 at just shy of 31 pounds of boost.
You can claim we're throwing around BS dyno numbers or what have you. Dave, if you're ever in the neighborhood, swing by, we'll dyno the car. Sadly, I will say, I think we'll have to do it soon. I believe we're loosing compression in one of the cylinders. Such is why the motor is getting yanked once the nice weather has left us.
Again realize, not all of us are 1/4 mile guys. Some of us like to have a looker that makes good power. I mean, it can't be all bad, your own J-Rod built a damn similar looking car after he saw mine in a past issue of Modified.
So take this as you wish. I just felt some things were said that might have been directed at me, and I wanted to throw in my $.02

Try "Barnes & Noble" or even just a local book / magazine store. I dont know if you might have a "Waldens" there but we have one in our mall and they always have "Turbo".
I CANNOT believe that I post a reply to this thread, only to have it deleted.
I own the white Atlantic Motorsports Evo which I believe Dave appears to be calling out for BS dyno numbers. I posted a very calm, kind, thorough explaination of the car, not saying anything other than facts about the car, and it goes and gets deleted.
Completely ridiculous.
I'll repost my post as I have it on my clipboard on my home PC.
Dave, congrats on the article. I'm blown away you would take pot shots at other cars due to other, personal reasons. I won't go into it since this will more than likely get deleted.
