i had to do the same thing on the speedsource 5 speed bushings, when i had my 04.
anyone of the said bushings you might need to use a dremel on

Jesus, do they really make such a difference with the 6-speed? I can't imagine a far more precise-feeling shifter than stock. It's the first thing people mention when they sit in the car and start touching things.
shifts are very precise and clean
i would definately make sure their brass. i bought mines fron lancer shop! the brass fits nice and tight and it has some weight to the peices. so they act almost like a counter weight, for clean crisp ****fting. the best mod for $30. totaly recomend it to everyone. my buddy bought some aluminum ones, when installed, to me, it felt alittle sloppy. so make sure their brass for tight fittament and practicality!
