Evo to NSX? What to do?

Guy's I'm torn with the idea of selling my baby and buying a 92' NSX. It's a really good deal and I'm not sure what I want to do. I can't keep both as much as I might like to. I realize that the Evo is faster for sure, but the NSX is just so sexy. It's a red one owner w/ 40,xxx miles, 90K service done. Very clean car.
My car has almost 52K on it and I realize that I'm coming up on my 60K service, which is a biggie. So I know it's going to cost me some money here soon. It is paid off though.

What do you guy's think?

i never saw the hype about the NSX's, imo: theyre pretty ugly and look like crap (quality wise) esp the interior. I hear they have a great chassis. I've seen a REALLY clean white on whtie one on the freeway with titanium exhaust and a carbon version of the OEM wing, i admit that it was one clean car (he had a new one, like a 06 or something), yet it still didn't appeal to me as much as a bone stock Z06 or something would..

fun car to drive and show off to the ladies, but no where near as everyday useful as the evo. Not to mention motor mods are $$ and dont get you much HP/dollar. I love them cars, but someone would trade an NSX any day for an evo i would imagine

I'd rather drive an S2000. Slap a comptech supercharger in that thing and you have a fun car with power and torque!

I thought about this as well, before I decided to get the Evo. I really like the way NSX's look, very classy and exotic. I think I may have driven past one, in my entire life. If your looking to be unique, then I would definetley get it. Even living out in the country, I still see Evo's, Supra's, RX7's etc. but never an NSX. I chose not to get one because I am a Toyota mechanic, so I work on my own cars, and I am more familiar with the Mitsu/DSM drivetrain since I've had 3 now. One look at the Acura engine bay and I said to myself F that! Not to mention what others have said about it being much older, however I think the NSX will hold it's value a lot better in the long run.

Yes it has it's service done early because of the amount of time it has been. Similar to changing your oil every 3 month's even if you don't drive 3K.

I would have to get another car to drive everyday, I wouldn't buy it for a DD.

cool car, no where near a 12 second 1/4 stock, rides like a shifter cart which is good or bad. If you like it pull the trigger and make the change its your car.

This is my mind set, I'm truning 30 in a few months and getting married, I love the Evo, but come on it is rather boy racer. I don't think I would modd the NSX because it is so exspensive to do so, at least I say that now. I see evo's everyday, I never see NSX's...

wait till you see the price on the stock oem twin disk clutch
that might help your decision....but they are sweet cars on the track and somewhat pricey to modify- ie supercharger...but done right its a killer vehicle...
my friend own a black one thats all setup for the track
supercharged big brakes and sick coilovers
nothing bling all track duty and its a beast to drive and hearing the motor scream and the s/c whine
woohoo

I still don't know why people call the Evo a "Boy Racer". Just because it is inexpensive, it performs, and it has a large wing?

Please go with the NSX if you consider the Evo a "Boy Racer".
