I love how people bring up mid engine handling unless you are at the track going 9/10's you will never experience snap oversteer anyway.

Whether or not he will experience snap over steer will depend on how he drives on the road.

Snap oversteer typically doesn't happen at 9/10s... it typically happens when someone goes around a corner in the wet at 4-6/10ths, or dirty corner and the rear end steps out. They pull a typical F/R response, countersteer and lift, the rear end bites and tosses them to the outside of the corner.

But that's not typically what I was talking about. I was talking about when you go around a corner and you feel that you are drifting wide, you lift off the throttle, which unloads the rear tires and you spin.

My first performance car was a 454 Vette(no HP, but could uproot a tree), next was a 383 powered Fiero I built, then 5 different MR2 Turbos ranging from 200hp to over 700 hp, Celica all tracs, and Supra TT. I've driven all of these cars at up to 11/10s, and only once experienced snap oversteer. The people who crash mid-engined cars are those who don't know how quickly you change from 4/10ths to 11/10ths with a mid-engine'd car and drive it off the road at 40MPH.

Do some track days with a mid-engined car, and learn how to handle it, and you will love it, just learn the mantra "don't lift, don't lift, don't lift"

Fun with a mid-engine'd car at the streets of willow (REAL PLAYER REQUIRED)

you cant haul groceries and or kids in a nsx. Also being in PA, the awd system of the evo will be very useful.
+1 . you might trade the NSX after a few months coz ure expecting a baby "who knows" . yeah the NSX is a awesome car but just like what they said it's still an OLD car compared to ure evo. keep ure paid off evo and save the monthly payment for the NSX for ure family . hope that helps.

an NSX is a very beautiful car, you can somewhat call it an exotic, but really you got what a 04 evo and you wanna get rid of a car thats about 15 or 16 year old? thats plan stupid dude. if the evo is too "boy racer" simply take the wing off, end of story. i mean theres not too much capabilities with that motor, but do what you want dude best of luck to you.

To ALL,
I'm NOT buying it, the Evo stays.

BTW, just because I'm getting married doesn't mean I'm having kids right now, half of you sound like women...

You learn in debate class that to prove a point, you use the extremes as an example. I could have also used a 1963 Ferrari, but I figured the McLaren was closer in age :-)

Agreed. Still the baddest production street car ever produced, sorry Veyron and Reventon. And its now 11-12 years old depending on the year.

The point of my response(besides giving unsolicited ***-kissing of the F1) is that age doesn't always = bad.
