NSX or M3?

Well, I'm pretty much done in the evo community. My car is up for sale. Now I've narrowed down my next car between a 2000 NSX or an E92 M3. There are pros and cons to each. The major concerns that I have are that the NSX is old and the M3 is notoriously known for constantly breaking down. What are you guys' opinion between these two cars? Which one would you choose? Negative comments welcomed since I wouldn't really care

I would go with a M3 for everyday driving. If you have a second car and don't plan on daily this one (aka toy), the. I'd go with the NSX.

Personally I would be happy with either one

Of those two I'd choose the NSX in a heartbeat. Fantastic car for the money even if it's not super fast in a straight line. Any M3 after the E36 = meh.

I had an NSX today for work. It's OK. Comparing to an Elise/Exige...I'd get the Lotus any day of the week. NSX is cool but not that great.

Was in a v8 M3 this weekend instructing (E36 M3 too). v8 was awesome. Tons of speed in the v8. E36 is really well balanced.

M3 or Nsx??? if the E92 model is the newer version that is definetly a headturner and its got some great power.

Nsx on the other hand, its got semi decent power, the evo would rip it any day of the week. Keep in mind though the NSX has that exotic car look. IDK if its just me but when you see one cruising down the beach or highway it definetly turns my head.

either way it's a WIN WIN situation, good luck and please keep us updated as to what you decide to get.

I think NSX's are ****ing awesome but I don't know I'd ever want to own one. You can't really fly under the radar with them. M3's can blend in a little more easily.

Keep in mind the NSX even the old 90s versions with the flip up lights are still being sold for somewhere in the $20k or so range. i believe the newer models with the flush headlights are even more.. i myself would love to own a targa top version of the car, but with prices like that i dont think so lol

i agree with you that they are expensive...oh and just to let you know, 20k for a nsx, right now, is a steal...the fact that most owners think that they're sitting on gold, makes it gold lol

Like i said, NSX owners are similar to Supra owners... i recall seeing some for 20,30 and even more. now for a newer version of the Nsx, like the last year they made them which was in 2005, thats completely understandable pricewise. for one thats say a 1993 which is 19 years old... there is no way in hell i would pay 20K for that...

Matter if fact, i just looked on craigslist over here in SOFLA, you can't even find one for $20K the lowest i see is $35K.. HAAAAA
