DO NOT SCRUB YOUR MANIFOLD COVERs

mitsu is so cheap when it comes to paint. I was just cleanin up my engine bay a bit wit some wet towels. Then I used some brawnie paper towels to clean up whatever water spots were left and now my manifold is transforming from black to silver.... sigh, i actually kinda like the look but still. Why do they insist on skimping on some decent engine enamel paint.

you arnt going to find any "paint" that will handle the heat from the manifold 100% especially around the bolts

Ive been using barbeque paint on manifolds and heat shields for years without a hitch if you need to repaint it

Yeah but this can happen if you need to remove some oxidation though, youl always see aa little paint. Unless youre using like a "cleaner" wax or something

paint coming off during waxing?

Is Blue by You a single stage paint? Otherwise, it would mean the clear coat has failed, which is BAD!!!

The mirrors are colored plastic. Not painted. Thats why you get some color after waxing them.
