Windshield repair.

Driving around today I had a piece of gravel get kicked up and chip the Evo's windshield It made a small star-shaped crack with three points that is definitely getting larger. Is this the kind of thing that can be repaired or will the entire windshield need replacing? How much might I expect to pay for each?

If you have full coverage it will only cost me 100 bucks.

Stupid Jared...okay fine, it wasn't his fault. Stupid gravely roads. Mum said our insurance apparently doesn't cover windshields...bollocks.

yes it can be repaired as long as the area affected is not larger than a nickel..if the cracks spread out more than that then it most likely cannot be fixed

Right, but what most people don't realize (until they get to the glass shop) is that you can still see the crack, they simply inject it with an epoxy to stop the crack from getting bigger.
In other words, if you don't want to see the crack, you're gonna have to get a new windshield.
