Can you clean a BR Cone filter?

I have the Buschur Racing MAF pipe kit for my Evo 9 SE, and about 1/4 of my cone filter is dirty but the rest is perfectly clean. Is ther a way to clean the filter or do i need to buy a new one?

Thumbs up Buschur Pipe

I have the whole Buschur kit too. They ususally have cleaning solutions from Autozone etc. where you dip the cone filter in and allow to dry. You'd have to re-oil the cone again though with a spray or the lube, but the spray should be easier. Let it dry first though before putting it back on.

Not sure about Buschur's filter, but most cone filters can be cleaned with K&N's filter recharger kit - spray cleaner onto filter and allow to soak in, flush with water to rinse, allow to dry, re-oil...

Why don't you call BR and see what they recommend?

There is no need to oil the BR cone filter.
