The Whats Wrong With Your Evo Thread
Evo's are like dating supermodels. Always needs tending to. Everything you have to buy for it is expensive. Everyone stares at it. You stand out like a sore thumb everywhere you go with it.
What's wrong with my car you ask....I bought a 2003 VIII new on 3/30/2004....I'm always tending to it. So other than it being a rattle box....it's all good

Hondas won't leave me alone when I want to drive to the store and I have to be conscience of where I am parking my car and for what length of time. I don't think there isn't a day that goes by at work that I don't look out the window to make sure it's safe and sound haha.
Rattles, but they're certainly livable. May have a minor boost leak but it's tiny if anything. Very small crack in the windshield - I'll be getting a new one soon. Some rock chips on the front end.
Only 8,000 miles too

I have a hard time keeping the miles off of mine. Rock chips, light scratches, and a little rust on the core support drive me crazy. The wheels have a few rock chips on them along with the local tire guy chipping the paint off when he removed the centercap to balance the tires.
my heat is all ****ed up. i have to turn the white gear to go from hot to cold and even then i dont think i have full heat.
my left side of my gauge cluster is out. the bulb will be here wed.
my coilover suspension is being replaced when i get my new ones.
chips on the hood i still have to repair.
pink calipers.
wing is ****ed up even after i fixed it.

I have the *worst* luck.
My TB VIII is in absolutely perfect condition, no thanks to the shopping cart that rammed it just over a year ago, or the jerk at work who dragged a large box by my car and put a scratch down the full length of it. Both of these were repaired flawlessly, at great cost.
Last week I was going north on I-25 when a pickup about 300 yards ahead had a rear tyre explode. It was a retread. A piece of the tyre flew up into the air, and it must have been 10 seconds before it came down at the speed of light by the side of my car. I thought it missed. When I got home, it had scratched the side of my car down to the metal.

Paint sucks it sucks it sucks it sucks!! I've used the best products on this TB paint and it still doesn't look as good as my wife's Saturn with just a wash 1 coat of Pinnacle. The paint is truly the worst I have ever seen on any car EVER.
Rock chips, 1 scratch under the rear bumper, and it needs another 300whp.
