Boycott RMR!!! - Long ASS Rant
.....in hopes of clearing some reputation for rmr....in my dealings with them they've been nothing but positive....I bought the parts from a 3rd part vendor Quantum Racing and Mark over there answered all my noob questions from beginning to end. After gettin the parts, I had slight problems with the exhaust since I couldn't shimmy it enough to not burn my bumper and RMR took care of that for me for free as well as installed all of their parts I bought (catback exhaust, downpipe, Center K tie bar, intake, intercooler pipings). RMR was great on service but charged a bit much for the labor in my opinon....but I have nothing negative to say about these guys. And yes Chris I agree, Adam @ z1 is great since and I try to do all my business with Adam@z1 (Adam = basically my main man heh), Quantum (Mark is a good guy and doesn't bs around when it comes to products) , and 500whp (Thanks Jefferey for the good service) seems to be ok for me too since he's local.
That is definitely instant karma.
Perhaps there is a higher power invoking justice?
Shawn, good luck and live clean and guilt free... and don't drop the soap.
RMR (all tuners take note), don't know how true everything Shawn said was, but remember:
1. No sale is final.
2. Be honest, correct things that were done wrong or just didn't work out.
3. If you meet criteria 1 and 2, customers will be understanding and even be willing to pay for the necessary parts to fix the problem... It's give and take.
When you mod, you increase the complexity exponentially... things will work, things won't... and often it'll cost more than initially quoted to do it right... unless the shop has experience with doing the car the way you want it...
And because of this, the tuner and customer need to communicate every step of the way and be honest... that way, you get the car you want, running fairly reliably, and the tuner has another bragging right on the road.

Yes, there is a message here. Customers and vendors alike. One of the coolest things I have seen on this board was Mr. Borla himself responding to (and resolving) a post about the quality of thier new ss header. This wee bit of effort gave me huge confidence in that particlar product and company.
