almost 2 years, $1000 1st year, about $2K this year. I got parts laying around that I purchased in August (and never got time to install - injectors, fuel pump, exhaust, Upper/Lower IC piping, mini battery, Zeitronix + WB02). Now a winter project - been too busy. Then to tune for e85. Once I get to about 400-450whp, I'll probably wrap it up and call it fast enough.

if you can make up your mind and get everything done all at once you might save up a lot of cost, but this way you lost a lot of fun on the process of building your car, I believe so far I spent around 10k for everything except the cost of car. lol I am happy even I know I could have done more with the money, too much extra cost here and there during the period.

new rims, new brakes and a bit of john shepherd loving posts me to 16k not yet fited and add another 1k for the ralliart dash. Probably 5k fitted.

 

Well when I bought the EVO my original plan was 3k. I talked to the local EVO gurus in town and they began laughing, my original goal was 400hp, so 6k later I was at 363hp, then came the fp black and the second build still hovering around 9k, then I decided to build the head/ bottom end, plus much much more, I'd say under 20k but defenetly over 15k. Worst part is I know there's 15k worth of stuff I plan to do to the EVO to finalize the ultimate build in my mind at least.
