The Tarmac Black MR SE is the rarest only 250 made. I beleive there are about 250 SE in every color but thats a guess so dont quote me on that and thats probably not right cause i dont think RR comes in SE or EB either? not sure? Im like 99 percent sure the 250 number on the TB IX SE is correct tho.

How many regular Evo IXs were produced and exported to NA with an aluminum roof?
No one has been able to explain how I have a regular IX with a factory aluminum roof

Talk about one of a kind lol

Are you the original owner? If not it wouldnt be that hard to swap the Se parts especially if someone was trading it in? What is manufacturing date? If it was a late 06 it would have been an SE.

Where are you guys getting these numbers? Really, tell us. You see, those of us who spend a lot of time here year after year have never heard these figures. That's why I'm asking.

There's a guy on this site that has an 03 Evo that didn't come with a key hole in his trunk, that has to be a one of a kind too right?

Guys, posting on a platform-specific forum isn't like having a cig outside a bar with a buddy. People come here for factual information. If you don't know, don't post. By "know" I mean be able to cite a source for the information; "pretty sure, "my friend told me," "I heard," ain't it.

Agreed.

I know I'm not the only one who's seen sellers invite other Evo owners to trade parts+cash before the car is traded. That's why we see newly purchased VIIIs with SE seats/lips, IXs with VIII seats and front clips, or as in this case, a (assumed) SE with none of the SE trim save for the roof and possibly the HIDs.

Good point. I am the second owner... the car was in pretty bad shape when I picked her up, but she's in pristine condition now the things I would be missing from the SE would be the BBS rims and the red stitch seats. I have the HID headlights w/ fog lights, MR/SE front lip and aluminum roof. I guess if this is the case, then I'm lucky they replaced the parts with standard IX parts. Although, I definintely would have noticed if it had VIII rims and those black/blue seats.
Is there any interior badging or features serperating the standard IX from the SE? I think the MR has the Evo MR badge down by the shifter and the extra gauges... not sure if the SE offered similar features

I wonder how many Evo 9GT were made. It's a 320 hp car for JDM market with RS turbo, electric windows, aircon, non AIK model, 5 speed gearbox, brembo brakes and a special interior.
