Weird issue- possibly plugs

Today driving back from work, I was on the freeway.I WOT in fifth gear(trying to pass a car)and my car started shaking and sputtered. I was able to reproduce it a second time, but then it stopped! I am thinking it might be my plugs? Do you guys have any suggestions?

it's really easy to find out pull the plugs and look at them.

I was compromise once because of a plug that went bad and no NGK's were available so I ended up with Champion that were spec'd for the vehicle. I had the same problem you're experiencing because the flame from the Champion's kept blowing out under higher boost. Switching back to the NGK's solved the problem. Bosch seems to be ok as well. I learned that just because it is spec'd for the LanEVO doesn't mean you're going to get that performance. Also check plug gapping. Through my plug experience, even the dealership can gap the plugs wrong. Bad gap can give the same symptoms. Man, that was a bad week.

I have brand new BPR7ES, I am going to put those on. Thanks for the input By the way did your boost drop when that happened?

I was more concerned about all the shuttering than to look at the boost gauge. I don't think I hit max because it was shuttering before then. My boost dropped after the dealership installed the new NGK plugs and performed an injection cleaning service and didn't install the I/C to manifold piping properly so I blew it clean off when I was 1hr away from anything, in the pitch black of night, on a lone highway, at -20C in the winter. Crap that week sucked.

Um, those are the $2 plugs verses the $20 IGR7A-G's? Even the defunked Iridium plated Champions I had were like $8->$12 each. You're driving a race car. Its going to cost like a race car.
