Yeah, I don't know where I have been but what turbo did you put in there? It looks like the maniflod has been replaced, or maybe you just too the heat shield off.... By the way, nice work, you know, sooner or later, you are going to have to start telling kill stories, because you will have bought everything there is to own on an EVO.

I also use this stuff on the vacume hoses that are exposed neat the header
www.thermotec.com/products/full/14005/14005.html

I swear by that stuff - it keeps all the heat out of your intercooler pipes -

I'm going to have my header and downpipes ceramic coated by G-Force in Bridgeport, CT in a couple of weeks also

Heat management is a major factor in turbo car tuning - it really helps to spool up - which of course becomes a major factor after you slap on a biger turbo

Anywhere like Summit Racing. I would guess it's thermo-tec product. There is a wide array of heat shielding materials available.

Its the 3037 S - the idel is the same - I was not complaining - just noting the idel was significantly "racier" than stock - - now I wam used to the 264's and I am going to try to step up to the 272's and hope it can hold an idel with those

That's awesome Al, looking forward to seeing you run in Ohio next weekend. The 272's will be fine, I've seen tons of 4G63's running them on the street.

I want to kick you in the nuts for having both 264's and 272's when it's taken me a month so far and I still can't get cams. I ordered some from Boost Solutions, but I don't think they'll be in until end of July.

Glad to hear you like the clutch, I'm ordering the twin exeddy this week from Mach V (new vendor), it appears they have the best price of $1499.

[edit] - just noticed, you aren't going to Ohio DSM shootout. Sorry to hear about that, hope we get a chance to meet up sometime.
