Dyno whoopass! 436 Wheel HP - no NOS - Evo VIII
Al, sometimes you talk some major ****........but those are some impressive numbers. How long until you change out internals i.e. JUN 2.2 ect? I would expect that sooner or later something will give inside with that kind of hp, especially once you start to wick up the boost.
By the way lets not turn this one into a flame fest as has happened before. A lot of people have some questions to ask rather than getting the bull**** started up again.

Al - did you have to chop and raise the roof or did you just put a "Gurney dome" in it? I ask because your head must be so big it won't fit in the stock car... Please don't start referring to yourself in the 3rd person.
Pruven Performance does his work if you ever missed one of his threads
The 3037 is badass ....its on the HKS evo&...the white one w/wolf graphics on it that holds the record at Willow Springs

Did you end modifying the kit to fit a 3" dp ... or did you go with a 2.55" dp like the 3037 kit calls for??? Were you able to test both set-ups? If so, which came out on top?

So far just using the HKS 2.6" down pipe / wastegate combo - it seems to work very very well

Is entry to this event FREE? I don't see any mention of what times on those dates and cost.

Well, I think Al's internet trash talk has been backed up and secured for a while...
Nice Al
Too bad you can't make it down here to College Station, Tx on the 26th and 27th for the Import vs. Domestic track day... Be nice for a "big stick" other than Supras to show up and lay some smack down.

The Texas Motorsports Club is running an event at Texas World Speedway on the 2.9 mile infield road course on July 26-27th.
I will be there with my C5.
KDubb will probably be there with his Camaro.
I'm calling out all you import owners who talk big game about how thier cars will outhandle a Camaro, and about how domestics can't run unless they're in a straight line, or how thier car handles so well or whatever to come out and put the smack talk on the track. Transponders will be available for timing and scoring information.
Time to put up or shut up. Who wants in?
Entry list so far:
2dr vette be there with my C5.

WOW. I just went to Texas Motor Speedway July 4th weekend and drove some stock cars with a company called Team Texas. they had about 12 stock cars, and I was able to hit about 160 on them (they are Winston Cup cars, but detuned a little bit). My god are the turns on the outer oval banked!! I had no idea, and unless you are driving on them, you really can't appreciate it.
