Dyno whoopass! 436 Wheel HP - no NOS - Evo VIII
Finally was able to get my new set up tested on the dyno
The results simply amazed me - 436 Wheel HP at 22.5 psi - 10/1 a/f ratios - no knock at all - no ignition timing adjustment yet
Stock rods, pistons block and heads - this was done on the stock rod bolts but I swapped them out for the arp's today (that was an easy job but very messy and took a lot of time)
You know whats super funny ??? Those snobs in the UK just can not believe my numbers and are claiming I am a fraud! HA - check out the thread . . . . . [url]http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25421
It seems that web site is down and up again throught the day so keep trying the link - those UK guys are quite comical !
So how did I do this???

Two big items - cold air and lots of fuel
The BIG giant intercooler is really starting to pay off big time with a bigger more free flowing turbo set up - the more power I make - the more important the big fmic is http://www.pruvenperformance.com/evointercoolerpics.htm
Also - I have some 660 injectors with the walbro fuel pump and have the fuel pressure jacked up real high with this nifty fuel pressure rail adapter which takes the aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator . . . http://www.pruvenperformance.com/evofuelpics.htm
Super amazingly - this run was at 10/1 a/f ratio and only 22.5 psi of boost with no ignition timing adjustment at all
I feel the potential is there for 500 wheel hp at 26 - 28 psi
This run was with the 264 cams - I have the 272's also which I will be putting in and testing along with the ignition timing adjustment in the near future
Sadly - very sadly it seems I WILL NOT be able to make the DSM shootout in Ohio on the 20th as I had hoped becuase I just was told today that my babysitter had a death in the family - she is going out fo town tomorrow and wont be back in time - its very sad - but worse for her !
Hopefully I will be able to get to the track sometime soon in the next week or two to test this set up and see what it can do

Nice to see some numbers along with the time slips. Very badass. Even funnier that people don't believe it.
Keep up the good work. Some weekend when I actually have free time I'd love to see that car. I may attend a couple meets in Nanuet throughout August if you're still going to them.

YOU ARE THE MAN!!! I'll be happy with a "measley" 300hp. How's the clutch holding up? It seems like that is the weak point on higher HP EVOs. Do you also have an uprated Radiator/thermostat/rad. Cap/fans...?
