rpms between shifts funky

It started a couple weeks ago. But under hard or mild acceleration between shifts my rpms will shoot up about 500 or more rpms...? The throttle isn't sticking my vacuum/boost shows regular...any ideas on what it could be??

It's just you pushing the clutch in while the turbo is still spooled or your foot is still on the gas. Don't worry about it unless it is slipping in gear.

Yeah lay off the gas earlier and not at the same time.

That's actually incorrect. Here's a thread I found that explains it better with a possible cure.

Friend of mine thought it was just flywheel inertia...I dunno. I've had it on my car since day 1.

I noticed it a handful of times as well and changed the timing of my shifts slightly and haven't had it since. Either what I did work or it fixed itself. When you floor the gas, don't try to shove the pedal through the firewall with all your might. That MAY be what is causing the throttle to hang a little, but I'm no expert on the problem and I don't know how you drive either.

Does'nt happen anymore since I replaced my clutch and flywheel. Went with a 10.5lb flywheel from Gruppe S and clutch is a ACT HDSS

A lighter fly will obviously lose RPM faster than the stocker. That is my diagnosis
