I'm glad you can wait, you're a real sport. "Whateva" fo shizzle.

When I ordered from Buschur, they charged me when it shipped, and they told me accurately when it would go out. I received the goods as promised, and the world was a peace. Certainly not everyone has this EXACT same experience with Buschur every time, but Vivid has an obvious tendency for customer dissatisfaction that goes beyond a statistical aberration.

The BBB does in-fact provide a service; you saying they don't do "shizn" doesn't make it true. Later "G"

Well said brotha...

Wow! A satisfied RMR customer... LOL

Indirectly, yes. Compared to Vivd, they are gods among men.

I haven't had them work on my car... then again, no one but me works on my car. I've had too many bad experiences paying others to do the work I should've learned to do myself.

I have only good things to say about RMR. It's too bad about Vivid - they have a ton of goodies on their site...

They have been great with me. Some stuff was not in stock right away, but I have been pleased with them.

Like I posted here earlier about Vivid, ALL of the vendors are in short supply. The reaction to the Evo has been overwhelming and most of these suppliers didn't expect it and the fabricators (like RMR) didn't have enough supply on hand to meet demand. The big issue to me is that the retailers need to let customers know that patience is needed. The vendors also need to do a better job of following up...

I shall reiterate: With the exception of PayPal, (becuase you instantly send money, it's not a credit card) it is ILLEGAL to have your credit card charged before your product ships.

People, if this is happening, contact the BBB IMMEDIATLY!

Hell if its illegal notify your states attorney general office. If they get enough of those complaints it gets the state involved and possible charges.

They are supposed to run the card just prior to shipping so that as soon as the card clears they can send you a shipping number so you can track the shipment. Billing the consumer when the parts not even in stock is illegal.

I think you're taking it too literally. Think of it as buying a candy bar at the circle K. If your card is declined you know it then and there and you don't get the candy bar. What if you had to have your card swiped as soon as you walked into the door after telling the cashier what you wanted. So you pay then upon walking around the store for 20 min realize they are all sold out of that candy bar. Now you have to wait a couple weeks unil the next shipment for a candy bar you've already paid for. Basically the complaint against Vivid is that they are taking their credit slips and depositting them before their clients have received the product. Just because you swipe a card and it's approved doesn't mean that their is that much less money in the bank. It is only taken out when the deposit slip reaches the bank. Vivid CAN and SHOULD hold onto ALL credit slips untill the Customer is shipped their product. If you've worked in retail you'll understand this.

Who told you this? It amazing how much misinformation there is on this site. Its almost like people make stuff up just to have something to say.
Regardless, it being illegal is completely untrue. Have you never heard of special ordering a part? You usually pay for it upfront. Do they have the part in stock? No. Do they charge you for it regardless? Yes. Is it illegal? No.

You guys need to understand the concept of drop-shipping, a process where a product travels from manufacturer to consumer without being stocked by the vendor. The product goes from the company to your door, not stopping at vivid along the way. Because the manufacturing company often does the shipping, there could be delays getting the product that Vivid has little control over. I'm not here to defend them, but come on, at least do some research before posting blatantly incorrect stuff.

Vivid Racing has been really good to deal with for me. Rob and Dan have been very helpful, they let me know the status of my order every step of the way.

Thought my positive experince would offer some balance to the negative feedback trend...
