will it work

Hey guys how are you...my lil bolt on project has just begun....just wanted to know something....my plan on my evo 9 is this setup....cosworth cams, snow perofrmance alky kit, buschur intake, tanabe concept g exhaust with no cat, hallman manual boost controller, walbro 255 lph fuel pump, ivey tune and buschur racing upper and lower intercooler pipiing with tial blow off valve...now my question is....will the tial bov be ok on mycar with this setup....some ppl say its just for evos wit different turbos but my friend has a 9 with a stock turbo and the tial blow off vlave and the website says its no recomended for evos with the stock maf....any info on this would be great thanks guys.

there is a lot of threads that talk about this with the vta problem. vta bovs dont go good with the stock maf

That seems like a solid list of mods, except for the BOV

If you're in search of something that will make the BOV louder, than I think you'll be surprised once you get an open element intake. I just put my HKS on, and it's LOUD!

If you want a BOV that's going to hold more boost than stock, look into a Forge recirculating one or maybe the APS.

both forge and the aps units are very nice. i would go for the aps

im lookin for sound to but i def want to hold boost welll...maybe like 25 punds or more on alcohol

uSmC 08 named 2 very nice units....the forge and aps will give you both sound and hold boost. its just all in taste of brand pretty much same performance

GoFastBits is a good dual port bov. I ran one on my Evo and it was too loud. Probably something you want. They have audio/video clips on their site:

Mine was setup originally to recirculate 75% and vta 25% , and it was still too loud.

forge rs is the best aftermarket diverter valve for your set up

even the stock ix diverter valve would be up to the task at 25 psi
