DYNO JET .....has walbro fuel pump.(forget to metion that )..... it hits 27 to 28 for a second at certain rpm but drops fast to 26,24,23, and stays at the end in 22 psi.... and it is on pump gas 93 oct.
simply put
the one reason you have your boost jumpin is that the stock braided hoses' on the ic pipping exspands when you spool up and the increase in volume causes' a drop in boost pressure buy the injen front mount kit and the upper ic pipping kit

I recommend turning the boost down. Your spike to 28 PSI in probably causing a bunch of timing to be pulled, which defeats the purpose of running high PSI. Turn it down to something more livable like 21 PSI and get rid of that horrid taper as well.
I'd recommend getting the Samco intercooler hose coupler kit. Also, the 350 WHP you mention doesn't mean much at all. What was your baseline power on that same dyno?
Also, don't you have an Evo 8, not an Evo 9?

The stock turbo spikes like that regardless of your IC piping, its because the turbo is capable of holding that much boost but only at lower rpms. As the rpms increase, the stock turbos ability to hold boost lowers to roughly 21-22psi by redline. I don't know if I can even tune my car not to have any knock at a peak boost of 28psi. Most guys that run 28psi on the stock turbo and 93 octane have an alky kit. The most you usually see people SAFELY setting their peak boost to on 93 is around 23psi, on average.
