What's the big deal? I just start it and drive. Obviously I stay out of boost until it warms up, but are you people really that big of pansies?

Now i know this isn't possible with all alarm systems as i tried it with my previous car and yo couldn't do it.By the way I have a Viper alarm.
welcome to the 2007 buddy.....a little late to find this out

Really??? Why??? My remote start only works if I set it when I get out of the car. I pull the e-brake twice with the car out of gear to set the starter and when I turn the car off it stays on. Once I get out of the car and shut the door, (the car is still running with the keys in my hand), I hit the kill button on the remote and the car turns off. Now I can start it with the push of a button. It's set up that way so it can't be started with the car in gear. Super safe!

i heard the best way to warm up your car is to just start it and drive but stay under 3,000 RPM's (im talking about an A/T) untill your cars heated to a normal level. i heard just starting it and letting it run only warms up the engine when what you really need warmed up is the drivetrain and thats only warmed by driving. can anyone confirm this?

Check this out. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=246689 Once the needle starts to move you can drive non boost until it reaches operating temp. 5 min etc is too long and does more harm than good. BTW that is Mitsu's official warm-up procedure.
