Is there an easy way to tell if my Evo is flashed?

I have suspicion that it's been flashed, but I could be wrong. The other day I accidentally rev'ed it to 7.5k while merging (gotta love how it just keeps pulling). It didn't hit any kind of a rev limiter, and I thought that was supposed to kick in around 7.2k.

Bought it used. Shows no direct outward signs of being modded - no tool marks, etc.

If it's flashed that's cool - I just hit 60k so I'm planning on doing a few bolt-ons. This may just make it less expensive.

Not really. If it was already flashed, you have no idea what mods it was flashed for.

the easiest way to tell is to download the map off your ecu and compare it to a stock map

mine is stock and owned it since new with 14 miles on it. in the heat of the battle, I have reached beyond 7600 rpm a few times with no fuel cut-off whatsoever.

Ah - that would explain it. Thank you for all the replies.

Like aryder mentioned, get yourself a tactrix cable and download ecuflash for free then compare to a stock ROM.
