Can anyone CONFIRM that after dyno tune, you'll get better MPG street/highway?
How can you get better mpg when you feeding more fuel?

check your boost gauge , if you are at 0 or less boost , when you are accelerating or driving ,then you will have good MPG, but when turbo spoolsup ,forget about MPG.

You can't. But you can get better mpg when you are feeding LESS fuel. You assume that a tune adds fuel, but in reality it takes away fuel.

Fill up your car, reset your trip meter, and run your car until it's near very empty. Fill it up again and note how much you filled up (we'll call this delta2).

trip miles/delta2 = mpg

sMiles Per Gallon

There are some threads in the EcuFlash section about a group of people who are tuning their cars for mileage. While you can make great power and get decent mileage, you can't do both at the same time. Your mileage will be more a factor of how you drive you car than anything. In my wife's previous vehicle, she got 15-16 everytime she filled up. I easily pulled 19-20 in it.

Haha, I agree. If I worried about MPG,I don't think I would drive an EVO. Reguardless, tuning does generally decrease the amount of fuel. I know this may be a simplifying explanation, but when you tune a car you want to be as lean as possible without detonating. This also generally yields the best hp gains. Stoich 14.7:1 is the shooting point.

I am fairly new to Evo's, but is it my car or are they incredibly rich from the factory?
