Do you have a loan on the car? If you do, you are required by law to have full coverage insurance so that in case stuff like this happens, the financial institution that loaned you the money is covered from getting back a worthless ball of metal.

I am not going to preach to you, because everyone makes mistakes, and people on Internet forums get serious cases of 'ivory tower syndrome'. But if you have a car loan and cannot afford the full coverage insurance, fix the car and then sell it. Because you really cannot afford the car. Sorry to say it, but I think you already know it is true.

If he has a car loan it really is NOT his decision. The legal contract you sign on the loan requires you to keep up full coverage for the life of the loan to protect the lender.

Can be fixed for about 30.95

Rent a buffer from Pep Boys- 10.00
Zaino Car Wash- 15.00

Paypal transfer to me for the idea- 5.95 add 3% please

Seriously though i would never reccomend not having full coverage unless you can afford to pay for the cars value. Now your in a tough spot without a car, no way to fix it unless you have 5-7k and if it was reported at all to the police (which I am assuming it was not), insurance HIIIIIIIKE.

Cool, then you got really lucky, because that could have been some serious trouble. I still think you should sell the car after fixing it. Cars are no fun if you have to stretch to afford owning them.

Good luck with the repair! Find some used parts and see if you can make a friend at a body shop to help straighten whatever is surely bent underneath there.

This story is just further proof that bi*ches and Evos don't mix.

Yea, i tried to talk to the insurance company, but they dont cover it. Im just going to have to fix it myself. At least the mechanical part right now. And then do the body shop later on.

That's really too bad that you didn't have full coverage. You could have your car all nice and fixed for $500 with insurance coverage. We all make mistakes. Too bad your mistake was a $5K-$7K mistake. Lesson learned I'm sure

That is the most ignorant and stupid advice I've seen on this forum
