Crashed da Evo.. :(
The lower control arm is bent. I called mitsubishi and the part cost about 300 dollars. And the guy is going to fix the sideskirt and the fender. I have many friends that got their car fixed by this guy and they told me he is really good. He even fixed an friend of mines evo too. So i jut hope he does a good job and that i have my car back and running soon!!

on the real though, i HATE when people suddenly yell TURN HERE/EXIT THERE/ETC last minute. i myself have got into so many close calls cause of it. must be some natural human reaction or something
don't mean to be a buzzkill.. but that is a really low quote. Sure the control arm might be inexpensive, relatively - and the bodywork can be patched up - but I would be extremely concerned about the wheel hub and the tierod. Do you have a spare enkei wheel, with tire?? I pray that the shop has all the equipment to check the body frame and alignment. It's not uncommon to see crashed evos driving sideways on the highway. Take care and good luck!!!

Why wouldn't insurance cover it and that sounds way to low.
I crashed my dsm because of a mechanical failure (maybe thats why, it wasn't anything I did while driving, rear diff blew up pretty much) and hit the guard rail going 45mph, just for a new front bumper, headlight, fender, hood, stock 17" enkei, rear bumper and paint was $3300. My insurance covered it and my rates didn't go up either, maybe I got lucky
Good luck

damn, that is way low.... my dumbass roommate borrowed my car (lesson learned, never let an inexperienced driver behind the wheel of a 400whp car) put it into a curb, doing far less damage than what was done to yours and it was still 1500 to fix, and that was without a new bumper, fender, or wheel!
