Oh i think i get it now. On the plastic cube that is on the door that shows if it is locked or not. If its not locked it will show the red/orange sticker which stands out to show you its unlocked. When locked you cant see the sticker because the plastic cube rotates toward the front of the car.

Are there seriously people that are upset about this?

You 06 guys also got shafted on the window trim... You don't have a gloss coat. It's flat.

I noticed that and think it looks way better on a GG.

I like the flat better. I doesn't show swirl marks. I think they started the flat trim on the 05's, but I did notice in a pic that a black 9 SE has the glossy trim around the windows.

I noticed the little red sticker being gone as well when I first bought my 9 and I thought they just forgot as well. Its not that big of a deal, but once you have it on a 8 and go to a 9 you can get confused if your doors are locked. I double check all the time. I'd say mostly the guys that are complaining are guys that actually owned a 8 and a 9.

I had an VIII before my IX. I don't know how many times I've stared at the passenger door wondering why I was staring at it to see if the doors were locked. Now I know.
