Check it out. The car Vivid Racing uses as an advertisement all the time on this site is for sale. Think it's a deal?

$40K in mods and only 420 whp on pump? pretty lame...shouldn't have put all that exterior crap on there.

I was thinking the exact same thing. All of that money on a car that could get smoked by someone with a stock body Evo and $8,000 in mods under the hood. That would be embarassing.

As far as the price, a car with that much modification done to it falls into the realm of 'how much would you pay to be recognized'. Essentially you are paying to say, 'Look! I have Vivid Racings old car,' and the implied bragging rights that come with it, since the car really is not terribly fast compared to other modified Evos out there for far less money. Someone will buy it, but I would bet the selling price will be in the $25k range.

I wouldn't buy it at all...I'd rather pay for an unmodified 8 or 9 (8 would obviously be cheaper) and build it up and blow the doors off that thing.
