Can anyone tell me the exact reason why insurance is so high for EVOs?

Are they stolen/vandalized often?

And I know Evos are sports cars and people drive recklessley duh. but if I really wanted to go fast right now I'd blow my money on a 99-04 Mustang GT. So why doesn' the Mustang have the insurance cost too match?

Insurance is high on Evos because they have bad side impact ratings, and a lot of idiots drive them and get various tickets (speeding, street racing, etc.) and accidents.

Mustangs probably have a smaller ratio of incidents per driver.

$117/mo with Progressive -- I'm 37 with a clean record. Was previously with Geico but they wanted over $200/mo...had to ditch that.
