yes you are if you have no tickets. i had the female discount as well, and when i first got my evo 8 i was 19, i was paying maybe $180 a month on a fairly clean record.

i now have my X and am 23... i pay around $160 a month (state farm)

I just did the online quote from progressive and as a 23 y/o male with a dismissed failure to stop at a safe distance ticket was quoted 122(without the ticket listed since it was dismissed) to 150 (with it listed since I dont know if dismissed tickets count or not). Has anyone else done the online quote with progressive? I listed the car as a lancer since it didnt give me the option of choosing an evo but I cant figure if thats correct or if they just dont have their site updated to include evos.

I pay 120 a month with state farm. That is for full coverage. I have no idea why or how. I am 18 and dont have a clean driving record.

Seems like too good to be true. Anybody have experience with Unitrindirect?
I paid $1600 when i was 24 and dropped down to $900 when i turned 25. Now I'm 26 and only $350?
Trying to get my insurance here in Iraq so I can have insurance to renew my DOD sticker.
Just switched to Unitrin Direct from USAA. USAA was raising my premium up to $655 for 6 mths for 2 cars [Evo X and a 1998 Civic Hatch]. I am a single 32yo male with no accidents, tickets, or claims ever and excellent credit. I called USAA repeatedly to try to get them to lower my rate to no avail, so I got a quote from Unitrin Direct for $436 per 6 mths for the SAME coverage as USAA. It was a no-brainer at that point. I only drive the Evo X on the weekends and since it is garaged, I don't plan on making any claims in the near or distant future, so saving money on useless insurance >>> having a perceived "better" insurance company.

^ Unitrin is actually pretty decent... rated "excellent" by A.M. Best and "A" by Standard & Poor's for financial stability. I like working with them, I've put TONS of clients with their company (though Unitrin Specialty in particular, same company as Unitrin Direct but a different branch). As a side note, their roadside assistance program is pretty good.
