i was paying 380/month insurance and 570/month car payment. Im 20 years old no tickets. my parents told me to do it on my own if i wanted it so i went ahead with it because i wanted the car. But my dad said he couldnt see me pay 1k a month to drive my car back and forth to work so he put it in his name now i pay 150/month for insurance.

$110 a month (approximately) for two vehicles including the MR for two drivers, one with clean record and 1 accident (Me) unfortunately. Full coverage and $500 deductible... but with what repairs cost on the MR, thats like a dent in the fender, hahaha.

To be honest - that doesn't suprise me. They are chaging you that because they dont want to insure you with that car. There's alot of factors that go into it -
Hows your license? Credit? You live in Brooklyn - thats mudering your rates by the way (high population, not alot of good drivers and cars get stolen over there alot) and your still young in insurance companies eyes.

Granted 20Gs is NUTS, but doesn't suprise me. If you want - touch base with me and I'll see if I can do anything better for you.

hey guys. i got a quote from my insurance company yesterday for an evo x. it was just a rough estimate since i didnt have a vin number yet or anything.

it would be around 800$ every 6 months.
i'm a 20 y/o female. perfect driving record. no accidents. no tickets.

right now i'm paying around 660 every 6 months for my 06 wrx.

i'm debating whether or not i want to fork out the extra cash.

$125 /mo for my evo and my 850. It was down to $87/mo just for the evo til I snagged a ticket a year ago. Need to get my other volvo registered and insured so I can break it in and drive it to the track.

I was just quoted 550 for 6 months through AAA which is about 200 more than my DSM. Thats about 92 a month. I'm 38 and nothing on my record. I'm going to keep looking around.
