Am I doing something wrong or any cheap recommanded companies?

hmm
geico - 432/75 month
progressive - 590/108month
unitrindirect - 550

I guess I'll go with Geico.
Anybody have Geico for their insurance? I classified my car as Lancer Evolution RS (with ABS break) even though i own GSR(RS was only evo).
Summary page shows my car as 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer

So before you get navigation installed you should think twice. I was just reading an article about this a few days ago where insurance companys will require proof that you drive the miles you say you do. Those who have navigation will have to sign a waver giving access to the insurance company. The kicker is they can access ALL information including speed. Those who's VIN numbers don't show a navi system wll only be required to let their rep lood @ the odo or send in a picture.

Everytime cars get new additions and become more advanced, someone is looking for a way to exploite it.

Wow I did another quote from unitrindirect and got only $350/6 months with almost maxed out.

Bodily Injury Liability $100,000/$300,000
Property Damage Liability $50,000
Medical Payments $5000
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury $100,000/$300,000
Other Than Collision $500 deductible
Collision Coverage $500 deductible
Towing and Laber - none
Optional Transportation Expenses - none

$346 pay in full

Seems like too good to be true. Anybody have experience with Unitrindirect?
I paid $1600 when i was 24 and dropped down to $900 when i turned 25. Now I'm 26 and only $350?
Trying to get my insurance here in Iraq so I can have insurance to renew my DOD sticker.

I did some google search and came out to be good review. Many people said their auto insurance is good but home insurance is crap.

Someone please kill this thread!!

Comparing your insurance cost to anyone who also drives an Evo is POINTLESS! I will repeat that again - POINTLESS. There are so many factors that go into auto insurance, ranging from age, location, driving record, credit, etc that comparing what your paying to what other Evo owners isn't going to help you at all. Nobody's situtation is the same - please stop this dumb thread! LOL

I got a quote from USAA, its a military insurance, I was in the Marine Corps for 4 years,
Im almost 25 and my quote was the same amount as it is right now with my truck. for 2 cars it was 90 bucks a month, clean record not a scratch on it at all. (it pays to be good)

I flat out would not drive if my car if my insurance exceded $600/month.... heck over $300/month for a single car is too much. You at least could be driving a lesser car and have substantially less to pay for insurance. The sad thing is, I bet your are ultimately under insured for that $633/month.

Just for comparison sake I am currently looking for an evo and just had a sit down with my insurance agent to discuss rates.
-2005 Nissan Xterra
-2004 Nissan 350Z
-2008 Mitsu Evo X *potentially*
-Personal article policy on engagement ring
-Umbrella policy including uninsured/underinsured
-Home owners policy
TOTAL = $190/month
