Just purchased a 2011 Evolution MR (touring, premium, and nav) this past weekend and, of course, one of the first things I did was get the insurance sorted out. Was a bit worried after reading all the posts in this thread, but it turned out to be fairly cheap.
My cost, using State Farm, is $307 every 6 months ($614 a year). Works out to a little over $51 per month.
I am 34, married with a kid, live in central Ohio, own my own home, have good credit (like it or not this does get factored in), and have been accident/claim free for years. I also have all my insurance through State Farm (cars, home, life, umbrella, etc.), so there were a lot of multi-car and multi-line discounts. The car is also listed as a "limited mileage" vehicle with an annual limit of 7,500 miles (it is our third/toy car).

I'm 34, no points, tickets, or accidents and I live litterly in the styx and I pay out the *** of 350a month if not more I forget for having a perfect driving record and yes I have shopped around. That is for 1 car not includeing the 3 otheres I insure includeing my truck.

Yeah you can update that list with this...i quoted a GTR to replace the evo on geico insurance with full coverage and a $500 deductable, its $200 LESS!!!!! every 6 months, and a M3 coupe is $400 less.
damn im only 21 and they think its safer to be in a 450hP+ coupe rather then a 300hp 4 door?
btw this is geico

Here's my info
State Farm Full coverage
- 24 Years old with 22 Years old wife included in policy (wife has one lame parking lot accident 40% her fault)
- $500 deductible
- Multiple car discount
2009 Lancer Ralliart (sold) was $145 a month
2011 Eclipse GS-Sport Coupe (sold) was $188 a month
2001 Lancer Evolution X GSR (current) $193 a month
Why was that boaty Eclipse more expensive than a turbocharged Ralliart? don't ask me but I guess it's the 2-door factor... plus I've heard the RA is safer!
