Any one here of High Point insurance. I'm thinking of switching to them. They quoted me a price that is about 100 less a month then what I am paying now for full coverage. Just looking for some reviews/opinions on them.

With this new evo...I went from $600/6 months to $1000/6 months. No tickets, +25yrs, Multi-car, 2 comprehensive claims. Sucks.

Never heard of them, but if they offer you the same protection for a lower cost it should be a no brainer.

I've never heard of them, but working in insurance, I know that the laws in New Jersey surrounding insurance are pretty strict, which is why there aren't that many carriers that will do insurance in that particular state. They seem specialized in New Jersey only, while the company that owns them also does business in Connecticut and New Hampshire, which is generally a small area. Progressive, on the other hand, does business in almost every state. I tried looking up more official information on them, but there isn't much outside of their website. On that note, one thing that bothers me is that they didn't list their A.M. Best rating, which is basically a letter grade. The companies that don't list them usually don't have that great of a rating. Also, I couldn't even find what year they were established on their site. They also word things funny and put up statistics of Plymouth Rock (basically their parent company) rather than their own.

It's not always that simple. Most of the time it is, but there are things that you'd never know. For example, Access Insurance is a relatively new insurance company founded in 1994, but while you can get almost all of the same liability limits and physical damage deductibles as most other carriers, they don't offer permissive user coverage, which is never listed on their website or a choice that you can choose, like a coverage limit. But most people don't even know what permissive user coverage is and generally don't care.

Anyone have any insight for me? I'm 22 almost 23 live in pa lost my license for two years. 1 year for a barely mid range dui bac .106 and another year for driving on suspended license. I realize my insurance is going to be high but any insight on a general amount or recommendations for companies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's because you have a much newer car (a lot of people have VIIIs and IXs which are much less expensive to insure) and are also in New York, where the rates are among the highest in the country (along with places like Florida and Michigan).

Well, for starters, you're married and over 30... most people here are single and very young. HUGE difference.
