God damn, I'm 20, and have only been in 1 accident when someone hit my car while it was parked. They want over $650 a month on Esurance.com

But you live in New Jersey. Not that the price is justified, but insurance there is just more expensive, and due to the Department of Insurance there being very strict, there aren't nearly as many insurance companies doing business there, so you have fewer choices.

thought i was the only one. i ran a quote last week as I'm picking up my Evo on Wednesday. 310/month w/ USAA. we have to cars, 2 renters, high value & 2 life insurance policies with them. Craziness. Hopefully it lowers when a wreck from 5 years ago falls off. Unfortunately I was rear ended last month so who knows

I currently pay $190 a month for my 08 eclipse and 2011 outlander. I asked USAA for a quote for when I trade in the Outlander for the EVO (have already done this).

USAA comes back with over $400 a month for the Eclipse and Evo. I also have my home owners through them. And then on top of it they quote me $200 a month for my Eclipse and a 2012 STI. I currently have this issue going through underwriting.

But....

I start to call around for other quotes. All-state is $167 a month for my Eclipse and Evo. ANd this isnt including a discount for switching over my homeowners. USAA can be good but is not always the cheapest. Do yourself a favor and call around.

USAA also tells me my rates will be going up because other people have been crashing their cars. So even though I have not got into any accidents or have received any tickets in over 5 years with USAA, they feel the need to raise my rates. Anyways, it looks like All-state here I come. You should definitely call around.

$200/month, I been with Allstate for a year, im 20 years old with 3 tickets within 1 year, 1 point (cleared 2 tickets w/ traffic school) , been driving for 2-3 years, i use my 94 civic 2-door(liability) as dd which is in the same policy as my evo(full coverage), without my civic in the same policy ill probably be paying 300 or 350 (yikes.)

I pay $654 for 6 months with GEICO in NY. 26 years old, Evo IX MR, first car that I have ever owned/insured myself. I have full coverage ($250,000/$500,000 BI/UM, $500 deductibles, etc.).

I have a super clean driving record, no accidents or tickets/points ever (knock on wood). GEICO was about $500-600 cheaper per 6 months compared to every other company I called (All State, State Farm, Travelers, Progressive).

Anyone know the rates for '03 evo:
a 18-yr old college student (studying engineering); car would be listed under dad's name who's 60+, with me listed as a driver.

FYI both have spotless records
