Unhappy driving evo in snow dangerous why?

so i got an evo 9 mr in august, now its december and im really having trouble controlling the car in the snow. from the start ( red to green light) the car fishtails

stopping the car is really really tough too even with, down shifting stepping on brake, pumping break, pulling e-brake etc. brakes dont really do anything!!!

i tried changing the settings around from tarmac, gravel and snow. and well it works better on tarmac,

on snow MORE power is deliverd to the rear wheels, which creates more fishtailing.

ive tried driving in low gear higher gear etc. ive done alot of experimenting and still having trouble.

anybody have any ideas!?!?!?!?

Are you still running the oem yokahama tires? If so, ditch those and get winter tires, the stock tires are horrible in the snow.

what tire's are you using?? if it is stock advans you can forget it. If it is any summer tire you can forget it. You need winter or at least allseason tires

you mean tires with a 140 treadware rating aren't made for the snow?

Wait a sec. You're telling me tires specifically designed for on-road performance in warm/hot conditions without much tread aren't good in the snow?? ****!

Actually, that's the idea. The slicks are supposed to create a solid plane to float on top of the water and allow you to carve through it when taking turns. It's similar to how a boat works.

Or something
