Extreme Damage caused by Loose Meth Line.
This is correct. The proper way to connect the hose is to push in and yank back which makes the teeth bite into the hose.
Periodic removal and reinstallation will chaffe the end of the parflex hose and will require the tip to be cut off so the teeth will have new material to bite into.
The pneumatic fittings can withstand tremendous pressure. The hose I use on my personal kit is marine grade to 650psi I believe. I have run 36-38psi for 3 years without ever losing a line from a connector.
I really wish we were dealing with the facts, whether there was fire or an electrical short. I am not certain if methanol is a conductor of electricity.

When I take the Harness out we will see what it was fire or short. I am leaning more for fire than short as the car was running normal after the even just not charging.
Hmm looks like when the line poped off it made a flash fire and it kept burning until you let off and the line cleared.you cant really see meth when its on fire trust me i know.I was driving a meth powered rotary drag car and fuel line came off and all i felt was the heat and i jumped out of the car and was still on fire.thank god for fire suits and the grass that i rolled on to put it out.anyways back to meth kit.thats the reason ill be getting solenoid based kitsthat way the amount of spillage will be minimal in case of line popping off.

A solenoid would have done nothing to stop this.
The boost spray on point was met, the voltage was sent to the pump, the fluid was pumping, the solenoid would have been open, thus having the exact same result.
Im sure the pump on point was met and went off when he got off throttle.but theres still meth in the line after pump shuts off.with a solenoid close to the nozzle you would of had less meth in the line after he got off the throttle.another plus with the solenoid is that youll have constant pressure.
